It is a dark comedy. Two themes emerge: anti-religious fanaticism (no particular religion is targeted) and anti-social doctrines (Communism, Nazism, etc…). And, in order to be “politically correct” there is not a single positive character. It is “Cinema of the Absurd” at its best. The film is conceived to please a large segment of the society from hard-core intellectuals to the average Joe. Please see it.
